Privacy Policy
This policy explains what WGE Sports LLC (“WGE,” “we,” “us”) collects when you use live.wgesports.com, why we collect it, and what you can do about it.
The short version: we collect the minimum needed to sell you a pass and play you a stream. We do not sell your data, and we do not run advertising trackers.
1. What we collect
You give us
- Email address and password. Your password is stored only as a salted hash by our authentication provider. We never see it.
- Billing address and name, collected by Stripe at checkout so sales tax can be calculated correctly.
We generate
- Purchase records — what you bought, when, for how much, and the Stripe identifiers that tie it to a receipt.
- Access records — which events your account can watch.
- Viewing sessions — a row per stream you start, holding a device label (for example “Chrome on macOS”), timestamps, and a hashed IP address. We store a one-way SHA-256 hash with a secret salt, not the address itself. This exists to enforce the two-screen limit and nothing else.
We never collect
- Your card number, CVC, or bank details. Those go directly to Stripe and never touch our servers.
- Advertising identifiers, cross-site tracking data, or third-party marketing cookies.
2. Why we collect it
- To perform our contract with you — creating your account, taking payment, and letting you watch what you paid for.
- For our legitimate interests — preventing fraud and password sharing, keeping the streams stable, and answering support requests.
- To meet legal obligations — tax and financial record-keeping.
3. Who we share it with
We use a small number of processors, each doing one job:
- Stripe — payment processing, tax calculation, receipts. Stripe is the controller of your payment data under its own privacy policy.
- Supabase — database, authentication, and server functions.
- Mux — video encoding and delivery. Mux receives playback telemetry tied to a random session, not to your email.
- Netlify — website hosting.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We disclose data otherwise only when required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of our viewers, our crew, or the schools we work with.
4. Cookies
We set one thing in your browser: a session token that keeps you signed in. It is required for the site to function. There are no analytics or advertising cookies, which is why you are not seeing a cookie banner.
5. How long we keep it
- Account data — until you ask us to delete it.
- Purchase records — seven years, for tax and accounting.
- Viewing session rows — 90 days, then deleted.
6. Your rights
Wherever you live, you may ask us to:
- Tell you what we hold about you, and give you a copy.
- Correct anything wrong.
- Delete your account and personal data, except records we must keep for tax purposes.
Email wgesports@warriorsgateent.com from your account address and we will respond within 30 days. We will not charge you or degrade your service for exercising any of these rights.
7. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, email us and we will delete it.
8. Security
Traffic is encrypted in transit. Access to production data is limited to the people who need it. Video is delivered with short-lived signed tokens that expire in minutes, so a copied stream URL stops working almost immediately. No system is perfect; if we suffer a breach affecting your data, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by law.
9. Changes
If we change this policy materially, we will update the date above and post a notice on the site before the change takes effect.
